Mary Street Messenger - Issue #12 - April 27, 2026

Dear Families,

We have an exciting week ahead at Mary Street! Please take note of these four important updates:

1. Move-a-thon (Monday, May 4th) Students will be staying active and having fun at our school Move-a-thon dance! All students are welcome to participate. Snacks, drinks, and glow sticks will be available for purchase, with items ranging from $1 to $2.

2. SCC Meeting (Monday, May 4th) Our next School Community Council (SCC) meeting is this Monday after school from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the library. We value your input and hope to see you there! Please RSVP using this link: SCC Meeting RSVP Form

3. Grade 4-6 Track & Field (This Thursday, May 7th) Our Grade 4–6 students will be participating in our school Track and Field day. As this is an all-day outdoor event, please ensure your child:

• Wears comfortable clothing and running shoes.
• Brings a reusable water bottle.
• Packs sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.

4. DDSB Census Survey Please check your inbox for an email regarding the DDSB Census. We kindly ask all families to take a few moments to complete this short survey. Your feedback is essential in helping the board support the diverse needs of all our students.
